The Ultimate Guide to a Great Legoland Adventure in Orlando, FL

My two boys, Eli and Hub, LOVE Legos and naturally, Joseph and I knew they would enjoy a trip to Legoland in Orlando, Florida.

Legoland was a WONDERFUL, fun-filled vacation for everyone. My husband and I even had a great time. We have been to the Disney World in Orlando and we were less than thrilled. It was hot and crowded with long wait times.

Legoland was a totally different experience. We went in April of 2019. The weather was great- not too hot and not too cool and no wait times to ride any of the rides. If you did wait in line, the children played with Legos that were at each ride to burn any wait time.

I purchased the two day tickets, which included a pass to the water park. I found the boys' Lego t-shirts online from Wal-Mart and their Lego themed baseball hats were purchased at H & M. You can find these items at Legoland, but be prepared to pay a hefty price. The t-shirts were $7.99 at Wal-Mart and at the resort, we saw the same t-shirt for $32.

We lodged at the Lego-land Beach Resort. These adorable bungalows looked as if they were made of Lego bricks.

The interior of the bungalows are just as cute as the exterior. Lego themed all the way. My boys were in heaven!

I guess all children love to sleep on their parent's bed.

This was a separate area with bunk beds for the boys.

We ate dinner each night at our hotel. It was quick and easy. Plus, there were characters!

If the children finish their meal before Mom and Dad, they can build with Legos in the play area located in the restaurant.  This makes for a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

Day one began as a rainy one, but it was only a slight drizzle and it didn't deter my children.

We headed to MiniLand USA. It is a minland built completely of Legos. It really is amazing what they can build with these tiny bricks.

Lego Ninjago World- Don't be dismayed if it rains one day when you are at Legoland. There are a plethora of activities that your children can enjoy. This Ninjago ride is completely indoors with AC!

Hub earned his driver's license in Lego City!

There are a good many character meet and greets that we just randomly walked up on. They do have a schedule of events everyday. We just typically try to be really fluid when traveling with our boys. I do plan, but the plan is flexible. In the Lego Movie World, there is plenty of fun for everyone. I must warn you that the ride, The Battle of Bricksburg, is a wet one! We were soaked after that ride. Make this the last ride of the day or else, you will be soaking wet all day long.

We met Emmet at Emmet's Super Suite.

Day two was spent at the Legoland Water Park. And you guessed it- Legos, Legos, and more Legos.

Hub was 3 years old when we went and they had a section of slides that was just perfect for his age. He had plenty of activities to enjoy while big brother enjoyed the bigger attractions.

After a long day of riding all the rides and building all sorts of amazing things with Legos, a walk through the beautiful, Cypress Gardens at Legoland are a must see.

Last stop of the day was to pick out souvenirs at The Big Shop.

To sum the trip up, it was over too soon. EVERYONE had a great time at Legoland. This is a must if you have children who love legos. I would go back in a heartbeat! I tried to do my best to show you some of our favorite parts, but I know I missed some. I hope after this crazy pandemic is over that you and your family can plan a trip to Legoland and make some wonderful memories together!
